Swords, the fourth studio album by Leftfield, is a stunning achievement in electronic music. The album is a masterful blend of house, techno, and ambient music that showcases the duo's unique sound and style.

The album opens with the energetic and infectious "Release the Pressure," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. From there, the listener is taken on a journey through a variety of moods and emotions, from the haunting and atmospheric "Original" to the pulsating and hypnotic "Melt."

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Swords," a collaboration with Tunde Adebimpe of TV on the Radio. The track is a perfect example of Leftfield's ability to seamlessly blend electronic and organic sounds, with Adebimpe's soulful vocals adding a layer of depth and emotion to the already powerful track.

About Leftfield

British duo formed in London in 1990, decided to call it a day in 2002. When they played live in the 1990s they were joined onstage by , , Mc & . In 2010 founding member Neil Barnes restarted Leftfield as a live tour including old companions Adam Wren, Cheshire Cat, Djum Djum and , and as a DJ artist name, but without Paul Daley. He subsequently released 2 further albums - Alternative Light Source (2015) and This Is What We Do (2022).
