The guy is so dead that he sings directly from the chair. No point even standing for the sake of nothing. Eventually he standed up and get ahold of the mic as a valid display of that fleeting moment when you do something surrogate for the sake of other people to try be not dead for a bit. While you on your feets you realize nothing actually changes, you still dead inside and outside. And then music ends and you are completely dead again. Because nothing you do will change nothing you are always dead inside whether you are in chair or not for fucks sake
