Current members: Doc G and K-R.O.K The Producer Past members: Prince Be , DJ Minute Mix P.M. Dawn was founded in 1988 in Jersey City, New Jersey (USA) by the two brothers (a.k.a. ) and (a.k.a. ). In 2005, Attrell suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed. Their cousin Gregory Carr (a.k.a. Dr. Giggles or Doc G) was added to the lineup for their comeback that year, and Jarrett was fired from the band right after. Attrell Cordes was unable to continue with the band due to continued health problems, and he died in 2016. The band continued with just Doc G, and added K-R.O.K. The Producer to the lineup in 2018.

I have always known of PM Dawn as a one hit wonder. Discovered Jesus Wept this week on a list of Beatlesque album. As a Beatlemaniac, Prince fan and hip-hop head this might be one of my favorite albums of all time.

This should have been at least a Top 20 hit on the Pop chart. It's rare that PM Dawn can do justice with an uptempo song and use a sample from a classic Deep Purple song to make it work.
