Wow .... just wow ... never heard this before....
Cool!!! Very, very, very!
*_Even today, I (born June 1959) can still sing along to the songs of "The Sweet"._* It really was a great time musically, and I still long back to it from time to time. In the beginning, ergo Co-Co, Funny Funny, Papa Joe, Honeysuckle Love, Chop Chop and Little Willy were absolutely not for me at that time, my being a fan of "The Sweet" only began with "Block Buster". That's when the rock action came in, which still fascinates me today. At that time there was also a dichotomy with me, because there were friends, buddies or siblings who preferred to listen to "Slade". I must confess that I liked to listen to "The Sweet" as well as "Slade" and was a "secret" fan of both of these groups. At that time, we were still waiting from month to month to see our idols live at "Disco" or in the "Musikladen". But there were also other great groups like Suzi Quatro, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Golden Earring etc. whose songs I still listen to today. More recently, I also became a fan of Nirvana and Linkin Park (Chester Bennington R.I.P.), whose songs I can always sing along to. When my funeral is called for sometime, "Action" will be played again for me on my way to nirvana.
Brian had a beautiful voice i loved this man with passion

Yes Sweet had a very hard impact on Queen, icl. Brian May was a Sweet fan. Freddie Mercury..hmmmm, Steve called Freddie as Mr Lurex hahhahhah...OK both bands were acting like 2 bitches fighting, I´m the best attitude, but in the end, Queen beat Sweet and got number 1, but Sweet gave up as Brian´s lost his stardom and went down by his alcoholism. Freddie never lost his stardom, but he went down by a very tragical was AIDS. Both men were the bightest stars and both men feel down...Life is cruel when you are the most glamorous rock Icons.
