DKC 3 and Eveline Fischer work are so underrated

The water world theme is so dramatic I love it

Wrinkly 64 is such a bittersweet song. It perfectly captures the feeling that this is the end of the SNES era.

It is merely amazing how music can bring so many memories flooding in! I always preferred this game: the trio of the saga.

Great ost. Very serious compared to most games in hindsight

starting to wonder if those clicky piano sounds in "wrinkly 64" are deliberately trying to imitate the synths from super mario world

Stilt Village was an abomination and should have not been the first in level music you heard in the game.

brutally underrated

This is the only Country title I played in my childhood and I pived the parts where you could turn into the animals, especially the sword fish.
They had a Zelda easter egg in one the shops if I remember correctly, something along the lines of: "Some guy in green clothes was here and tried to buy something with rupees, the audacity!" :'D

This score is incredible and really suits the world of DKC3. I was disappointed by the Switch emulation only because some of the enemy sound effects (notably the bee buzzing) have the effect of playing overtop of the music so that you can’t hear some of the instruments. The most apparent effect is in the mill music and the rock face music.

This Game Came Out Many Years Before I Was Born But I Used To Watch My Mum Play It On The WiiU's Built In Emulator's When I Was Younger And The Music Has Still Stuck With Me For The Past Few Years

The music for this one has its moments but is vastly vastly worse than the first two which set the bar so high.

10:25 I'll never forget that this was my introduction to the Mario 64 castle theme.

I only played Mario 64 in bits and pieces as a kid, because I never owned an N64. In my entire life.

But the SNES? I played that ALL the way until the GameCube era. I must have been like 5 or 6 when I first heard this music.

It's kinda surreal to think. Most of my nostalgia for the Nintendo 64 was because it was so inspiring for everyone. Gmodders in 2010 used Banjo Kazooie music all the time. I remember visiting Lemmy's Land in the 2000's and it'd use Super Mario RPG music. I'd often visit my best friend in order to play Smash 64. It's kinda crazy that I feel nostalgia for the N64 without having owned it. A lot of, like...vicarious nostalgia.
