I was born in 2000 and started getting into popular music around the time this song came out. I loved it instantly but my parents HATED Kesha. My dad wouldn't let me listen to her because he thought she was trashy and promoting drug use, and my mom saw this music video and was like "Seriously? You like this?" I'm so glad I can come back to this as an adult and love it wholeheartedly with no shame.
