Review by Pru Davies

Harry Hudson's Melody Men have released an album that takes listeners on a journey to the South with "That's The Good Old Sunny South Sweet Music." The album features a mix of classic Southern tunes, including "Dixie," "Swanee River," and "Carry Me Back To Old Virginny," all of which are performed with a lively and infectious energy.

The album starts with the upbeat and cheerful "My Old Kentucky Home," which sets the tone for the rest of the record. The brass section is particularly impressive on this track, adding a layer of depth and richness to the melody. The album continues with a mix of slow ballads and upbeat numbers, all of which showcase the band's impressive musical talent.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "When It's Apple Blossom Time In Normandy," which features a beautiful, melancholic melody that is both haunting and poignant. The band's performance of this track is particularly impressive, with each instrument blending together seamlessly to create a truly beautiful sound.
