The album is a tribute to the golden age of house music, with nods to classic Chicago and Detroit sounds, but also incorporates modern elements of techno, disco, and funk.
The album's opener, "Is Everything OK?", sets the tone with a pulsing bassline and a hypnotic vocal sample. From there, the album takes the listener on a journey through various moods and styles, from the disco-infused "The Natural" to the acid-tinged "Don't Stand Up".
