Could you give me some more information about the turntable? Is it possible to have this machine with more than one tone arm, so you could play 78s? I was mightily impressed with what I heard, the limitations of YouTube notwithstanding. And, yes, vive Munch! I had not heard this record before.

Munch was a great conductor that have a lot of fire and passion inside. Saying so, in his latest recordings made 2 or 3 years before his death he was less energetic due to his heart condition. The Philharmonia Orchestra (here as "New" for contract reasons) was in amazing condition, a real chamber orchestra of 100 of musicians. The sound is as always, superb!

Wunderschöne und lebhafte Interpretation dieser scheinbar ethnisch und wesentlich perfekt komponierten Suite mit farbenreichen und perfekt vereinigten Tönen aller Instrumente. Die Habanera klingt echt spannend und auch bezaubernd. Der unvergleichliche Maestro dirigiert das ausgezeichnete Orchester in rhythmischen und gut phrasierten Tempi sowie mit möglichst effektiver Dynamik. Alles ist wunderbar!
