The Rivers Rising, the latest album by blues guitarist Bernard Allison, is a masterful collection of soulful and passionate blues tracks. The album showcases Allison's virtuosic guitar playing and his powerful, emotive vocals, as well as his skill as a songwriter.
From the opening track, "Crave," with its driving rhythms and searing guitar solos, to the haunting ballad "Same Ole Feeling," Allison demonstrates his versatility and range as a musician. His bluesy take on the classic rock tune "Hey Joe" is a standout, with Allison's guitar work taking center stage.
