Swarm Sound, the latest album from the American extreme metal band Wvrm, delivers an intense and ferocious listening experience. The album features ten tracks of blistering, abrasive, and chaotic music that is sure to satisfy fans of the genre.

The album opens with "Wriggling Chrysalis of Metaphysical Grudge," a track that sets the tone for what's to come with its pummeling drums, dissonant guitars, and guttural vocals. From there, the album only gets more intense, with tracks like "Colony Collapse Disorder" and "Thorn Palace" delivering crushing riffs and relentless aggression.

Despite the unrelenting nature of the music, Swarm Sound isn't without its moments of nuance and subtlety. The track "A Colony of Fevers and Plagues" features a haunting, atmospheric intro that gives way to a barrage of blast beats and scorching guitars, while "Tank Reaper" incorporates some sludgy, groovy riffs into the mix.
