Simple Minds' 5 Album Set is a collection of five of the band's most popular albums, spanning from 1982 to 1995. The set includes New Gold Dream (81-82-83-84), Sparkle in the Rain, Once Upon a Time, Street Fighting Years, and Real Life.
The album set showcases Simple Minds' evolution over the years, from their early new wave sound to their later, more experimental work. New Gold Dream (81-82-83-84) is a standout album, with its dreamy, atmospheric sound and catchy hooks. Sparkle in the Rain and Once Upon a Time feature some of the band's biggest hits, including "Waterfront" and "Alive and Kicking."
Street Fighting Years and Real Life are more politically charged albums, with songs that address social issues and political unrest. The set also includes some rare B-sides and live tracks, making it a must-have for Simple Minds fans.
