This is one fine listen. The dark voodoo edge to his songs is very positive. It is not a hook or something contrived. The songs are very well produced, and this was definitely just another sign of greater things to come. In this album, he shows his dark side, w/o giving or taking away, the "edge" he placed in his own compositions. I like this better, than his other albums. For it is in this album, I began to feel the artist

This is his debut album. He was very good! Not long after this I saw him in Copenhagen. That was absolutely fantastic. Him sitting on a barstool performing his album. Loved it!
