Ashra's album "Shra" is a mesmerizing blend of electronic and acoustic sounds that takes the listener on a journey through different moods and atmospheres. The album features the signature guitar work of Manuel Göttsching, who also handles the synthesizers and other instruments, creating a rich sonic landscape that is both ethereal and grounded.
The opening track, "Sunrain," sets the tone with its shimmering guitars and pulsating rhythms, while "Ocean of Tenderness" takes a more introspective turn with its haunting melodies and subtle textures. "Deep Distance" is a standout track that showcases Göttsching's virtuosity on the guitar, while "Nightdust" is a dreamy, ambient piece that evokes a sense of weightlessness and tranquility.
