Andy Williams’ self-titled album, Andy, is a timeless classic that has stood the test of time. Released in 1976, this album showcases Williams’ smooth, velvety voice and his ability to interpret a variety of genres, including pop, country, and jazz.
The album opens with the upbeat and catchy “Love Story,” which sets the tone for the rest of the album. Williams’ rendition of “Where Do I Begin?” from the film Love Story is also a standout track, featuring his emotive vocals and the lush orchestration that he was known for.
Other highlights on the album include the country-tinged “You Lay So Easy on My Mind” and the jazz-infused “The Summer Knows,” which showcases Williams’ versatility as a singer.
