Review by Dear Darling

Dixie Medley Southern Melodies is a delightful album that showcases the rich musical heritage of the southern United States. Produced by W W Macbeth, this album features a range of traditional southern melodies that are sure to transport listeners to a bygone era.

The album begins with the upbeat and lively "Dixie," which sets the tone for the rest of the tracks. From there, the album moves on to more contemplative pieces, such as "Swanee River" and "Old Folks at Home." These slower tracks showcase Macbeth's skill at creating a rich and evocative musical atmosphere.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "When the Saints Go Marching In," which is given a fresh and lively treatment. Macbeth's arrangement of the classic tune is full of energy and joy, making it impossible not to tap your feet along to the beat.
