Heart of Afrika is an album that showcases the diverse and rich musical heritage of Africa. Featuring a range of artists from different countries and cultures, this compilation offers a captivating and immersive listening experience that transports the listener to the heart of the continent.
The album opens with the infectious rhythms of "Afrika" by Malian singer and songwriter Salif Keita. Other standout tracks include the soulful "Soweto Blues" by South African jazz legend Hugh Masekela, the hauntingly beautiful "Nakupenda Africa" by Tanzanian artist Khadja Nin, and the energetic "Zaire" by Congolese soukous group Zaiko Langa Langa.
