Tigers' album 1982 is a nostalgic trip down memory lane for fans of 80s synth-pop. The album is a perfect blend of catchy hooks, dreamy synths, and smooth vocals that transport the listener to a time when shoulder pads, big hair, and neon colors were all the rage.
The album opens with the upbeat and danceable "Electric Nights," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The second track, "Dancing Alone," is a standout with its infectious chorus and catchy melody. "Easy" is a slow jam that showcases the band's ability to create a mood with their music.
The album also features some guest appearances, including Peter Hook of Joy Division and New Order, who lends his bass skills to the track "The Dreamers." The album's closer, "Endless Summer," is a beautiful and nostalgic ode to the season that perfectly captures the feeling of carefree youth.
