Review by Zakiya Franklin

Shushupe is a collaborative album by Ralph Koper and Norma Panduro that is a unique blend of traditional Peruvian music and contemporary jazz. The album features a variety of instruments, including the charango, guitar, and saxophone, which are masterfully played by the two artists.

The album kicks off with the track "Shushupe," which sets the tone for the rest of the album with its lively rhythms and intricate melodies. The song "Pampas" is a standout track, featuring Panduro's soaring vocals and Koper's nimble guitar work.

Throughout the album, Koper and Panduro seamlessly blend the traditional sounds of Peruvian music with jazz improvisation, creating a sound that is both unique and familiar. The album's production is also top-notch, with each instrument and voice clear and distinct in the mix.
