Review by Mark Read

Phil Nicoll's album Street Machine is a powerful and dynamic collection of rock and blues tracks that showcase the artist's impressive musicianship and songwriting skills. From the driving rhythms of "Ride the Wind" to the soulful ballad "Whiskey and Wine," Nicoll's music is full of passion and energy.

The album's title track, "Street Machine," is a standout with its gritty guitar riffs and hard-hitting beat. Nicoll's vocals are raw and intense, perfectly capturing the rebellious spirit of the song. "Highway 61" is another highlight, with its bluesy groove and infectious chorus.

Throughout the album, Nicoll's guitar work is exceptional, with soaring solos and intricate riffs that add depth and texture to the songs. The production is also top-notch, with a crisp and clear sound that allows every instrument to shine.
