Review by Michael Sheehan

La Paloma The Dove La Golondrina is an outstanding album by Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra. The album is a beautiful blend of classical and Latin music, showcasing the versatility of the orchestra. The arrangements are impeccable, and the musicianship is top-notch.

The album features a variety of Latin-inspired pieces, including the title track La Paloma, which is a classic Spanish ballad. The orchestra's rendition of La Paloma is breathtaking, with the lush strings and the soaring trumpet solos. The album also features other Latin classics, such as La Golondrina and La Cucaracha, which are given a fresh and exciting treatment by the orchestra.

One of the highlights of the album is the orchestra's performance of Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin. The piece is a fusion of jazz and classical music, and the orchestra's rendition is simply stunning. The pianist's virtuosity and the orchestra's dynamic range make this a standout track on the album.

I just bought this and another 12" potato head a few weeks ago and I like both of them. Sorry the one you found was in bad shape.
