Review by John Sollars

Patachou's album Sings Songs From Hit Broadway Shows In French English offers a unique listening experience for fans of both Broadway and French music. The album features Patachou's signature smooth and sultry vocals, which effortlessly navigate between the two languages.

Listeners will enjoy classic Broadway hits such as "I Could Have Danced All Night" from My Fair Lady and "People" from Funny Girl, as well as French favorites like "La Vie En Rose" and "Sous Le Ciel De Paris." Patachou's interpretations of these songs are both faithful to the original versions and infused with her own personal style.

The album's arrangements are also noteworthy, blending traditional Broadway and French musical styles with modern instrumentation. Standout tracks include "Cabaret" and "Les Feuilles Mortes," which showcase Patachou's vocal range and the album's diverse musical influences.
