The 2nd album from this Chicago band grabs hold of the old-school punk ethos and squeezes it with a raw, minimalist venom. These are herky-jerky, vitriolic, guitar-driven punk songs played with a coarse, in-your-face rock 'n' roll vengeance. Atonal refrains and an undeniably energetic attack mode guide the music. At their best, the songs on "Nose Picker" recall bands like The Avengers, The Wipers, Dead Kennedys, Sex Pistols.
