I fully agree, Jay, that Nat possessed the necessary star quality to have made it big but somehow he did not reach those dizzy heights. It all seems so effortless on his part as this nice track demonstrates.
I put up another delicious cut of his today for you! Hopefully one day a comprehensive box set will come out for Nat. He deserves it!!
Nat does his usual great job on this excellent number which only reinforces the very high opinion of him held by those who appreciate country music at it's best. I'm sure that you have not uploaded all the tracks that Nat ever recorded, Wilbur, but your output must come pretty close. It may be a good idea to dig out another track or two, as I never get tired to listening to them.
I'm a big fan of Nat Stuckey.. Never heard this song before it's good too... I really like Forgive Me For Calling You Darling I have that album from 1972. Wilburscott Thank You for sharing all great music from years ago... Linda .

I used to use a bit of this song as part of my sign off when I had a country radio show back in the early 70s.
An interesting posting, Wilbur from one of Country Music's unsung greats. Nat took a range of influences such as soul and blues and amalgamated them into his unique country style. Check out one of his albums from this period i.e New Country Roads where his versatility is apparent. He could make reference to the hippy lifestyle as Nat was no square.
