The Morbid - The Merrier

Review by Denis Sugrue

The Merrier, the latest album by Morbid, is a perfect amalgamation of death metal and grindcore. The album is a treat for fans of extreme metal, with its fast-paced drumming, distorted riffs, and guttural vocals. The album starts with the track "Morbid March," which sets the tone for what's to come. The album is relentless, with no room for any slow or mellow moments.

The standout tracks on the album are "Carnage Carnival," "Bloodbath Bonanza," and "Graveyard Groove." The guitar work on these tracks is exceptional and showcases the band's technical prowess. The vocals are also noteworthy, with the frontman's growls and shrieks adding to the overall intensity of the music.

The album's production is top-notch, with every instrument and vocal track sounding crisp and clear. The drums, in particular, are mixed well and provide a solid foundation for the rest of the music.

I was the bass player and the whole band started in my living room. I still believe that Trent was one of the most gifted truly heavy metal singers ever he just didn't realize it.
