Review by Matthew Patry

Vietnam is an album by Mike McGill that showcases his musical prowess and storytelling skills. McGill's unique sound is a blend of folk, rock, and country, with each track telling a story of the Vietnam War. The album is a tribute to the soldiers who fought in the war, and the emotional impact it had on their lives.

The album begins with "The Wall," a poignant song about the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. McGill's voice is filled with emotion as he sings about the names etched on the wall and the sacrifice they made. Other tracks like "The Flag" and "The Soldier's Lullaby" continue to tell the stories of the war and its impact.

The standout track on the album is "The Last Patrol," a haunting ballad that tells the story of a soldier's final moments in Vietnam. The lyrics are powerful, and McGill's voice is filled with emotion as he sings about the soldier's thoughts and feelings.
