Born Los Angeles, California 1970. Michelle Toussant is an R&B vocalist. She is known for recording the first hip hop soul album ever, combining hard urban rhythmic patterns with amazing soulful vocals. Michelle also was the featured vocalist on the World Class Wreckin Crews 1988 single Turn Off The Lights .
The singer was originally signed to Eazy-Es Ruthless Record and in 1989 released her self-titled debut album, produced by Dr. Dre. The album contained hit singles No More Lies , Nicety and Something in my Heart . "If?" and "Keep Watchin'" were the other highlights on the album with videos to match. The album sold over 1.5 million copies.
In 1997 Michelle released her second album Hung Jury and single Hang Time on Death Row Records.
In 2003 she appeared on the Dysfunktional Family Soundtrack.
From 2013 to 2015, she joined the cast of the TV One reality series, R&B Divas: LA.

Oh boy, I have to hold back the tears when I read everybody's comments. Ever since Wrecking Crew, I've been down with Michel'le. When she put "Something in My Heart" on the charts, I could feel the mad LOVE she had for Dre and she melted my heart then and she continues to do it now. Her songs are straight from her heart and that's what makes her grand artist that she is now. Imagine her old songs are at least 30yrs and they sound like new songs of this era. I just love her soulful music. 5 thumbs up Michel'le and I ain't got but 2, lol
