The Unforgiven II is the eighth studio album by the American heavy metal band Metallica. The album was released in 1997 and was a sequel to the band's popular 1991 hit, "The Unforgiven."

The album features 11 tracks, including the hit single "The Unforgiven II." The song is a slow, melodic ballad that showcases the band's ability to write powerful, emotional lyrics. The imagery in this song is beyond anything...i can relate with the frustrations and despair of being stuck behind a door ...however, the door transforms into some person at the end...i wonder what that's supposed to entail to the door imagery as a whole.
