Review by Jassi Oberai

Magic Organ's latest album, Tacky, is a unique and refreshing addition to the music scene. The album showcases the band's versatility and creativity, as they seamlessly blend elements of rock, pop, and electronic music.

Each track on the album brings something different to the table, whether it's the catchy hooks of "Tacky" or the haunting melodies of "Echoes." The lyrics are clever and thought-provoking, touching on themes such as love, loss, and self-discovery.

One standout feature of Tacky is the band's use of instrumentation. The album is filled with rich, textured soundscapes that create a dreamy and immersive listening experience. From the driving beats of "Electric Dreams" to the intricate guitar work on "Nocturne," Magic Organ shows off their musical prowess on every track.

Nashville sideman Jerry Smith is the player. He played piano for many country singers in the 60s. Notably, he played piano on Jim Reeves' last recording session on July 2, 1964.

PLEASE put the whole penny arcade album on. I love this so much! My mom and dad played the 8 track in the car when I was young. They are both gone now and this brings back so many happy memories!!

I would love to hear The Magic Organ perform "The Magic Carousel". Haven't heard that one in decades.
