Does anybody know the meaning of this song? I know the lyrics but it's not clear cut to me what Jay Kay is talking about. Is he talking about life after death or the immaterial world? It really makes me thing when he says "there was no light, there was no sound here in the dark..."

there's too many versions of this song, the one on streaming services is like a polished radio edit, the record is a similar thing but extended and with m-beat speaking lyrics over it and this sounds like the rough copy before it was mastered lol

Anyone else here from the US and wonder how we've never heard of M-Beat?! I was also late to the game with Jamiroquai and have heard a lot of their stuff now. But, I'm still digging around YouTube trying to find other music by them. I am really vibing with M-Beat's sound too. This is seriously tight! I guess I'll also be on the hunt for music by M-Beat.

I feel like someone has held me captive from a radio! I'm gonna start a station here in the US that opens the door to the many beautiful sounds out there, because we've been deprived! Now if I just had a few bucks to get it off the ground. ?
