Bought the 12'' vinyl version in 1979. Nearly nine minutes and loved every minute. Never knew there was a shorter version. Thanks for sharing.
Congrats on this rare find--it's a disco classic that peaked at #4 on Billboard's Disco chart in late 1978. A U.K. chart position of #70 isn't bad, considering that it peaked at #89 on the Billboard Hot 100, and remains the only John Davis single to chart. Still, any song that lands on the Hot 100 is considered a hit, but I agree that this song should've charted higher.
Took me a while to find this Alan. Fantastic disco track. How this could only reach # 70 is a mystery. Should easily have made Top 40 at least.
