About Howard Ashman
American playwright and lyricist (Baltimore, May 17, 1950 New York City, March 14, 1991).
He made team with , Ashman writing the lyrics and Menken composing the music, after they first collaborated on the off-Broadway musical Little Shop of Horrors (1982). Both arrived to Walt Disney Pictures to bring a new life to company's animated features, achieving huge success with The Little Mermaid (1989). Ashman got deeply involved in the development of two subsequent films, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin (actually he was credited executive producer of Beauty and the Beast), but he died after complications from AIDS before the completion of the first.
He won two Academy Awards (being nominated five more times), two Grammy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards.

GCSE music

I think it's Howard Ashman talking, not Franc Luz
GCSE music
oh! It *does* have that wee-oo synth sound in the background after each "little shop" -- I had this CD as a kid so I know it well, but I never thought that was on there! Weird that they've mixed the synth so low you can barely tell it exists
We love GCSE music ✌?✌
aah my favorite movie. leetle shap of harrars.
It's chilling
Franc Luz really does sound a lot like Howard Ashman on this album (except on Dentist!)
my school did LSOH as a Christmas play, I was in it but didn't have an important role, I had loads of fun learning the dances for Skid row and the prologue. I still remember the dances off by heart. definitely won't forget this any time soon!
I remember this picture from Mira Costa High School.
My school is doing this as our winter musical
My aunt's did this musical at their highschool and (looking back on it) it was awesome! So I'm here for nostalgia
