Review by monica dianita

The album Little Shop Of Horrors by Howard Ashman is a masterpiece of musical theatre. The songs are catchy and fun, with clever lyrics that tell the story of a man-eating plant that takes over a flower shop in a run-down neighborhood. The album features a talented cast of singers who bring the characters to life with their powerful performances. The standout songs on the album include "Skid Row (Downtown)", "Somewhere That's Green", and "Suddenly, Seymour". The music is a mix of rock, pop, and doo-wop, which gives the album a unique and timeless feel. Little Shop Of Horrors is a must-listen for any fan of musical theatre, and Howard Ashman's legacy as a songwriter and lyricist is cemented with this classic album.

oh! It *does* have that wee-oo synth sound in the background after each "little shop" -- I had this CD as a kid so I know it well, but I never thought that was on there! Weird that they've mixed the synth so low you can barely tell it exists

Franc Luz really does sound a lot like Howard Ashman on this album (except on Dentist!)

my school did LSOH as a Christmas play, I was in it but didn't have an important role, I had loads of fun learning the dances for Skid row and the prologue. I still remember the dances off by heart. definitely won't forget this any time soon!
