Review by Nate Whitehill

The album Masses by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina Pro Cantione Antiqua is a masterpiece of Renaissance choral music. The Pro Cantione Antiqua choir has done an excellent job of capturing the essence of Palestrina's compositions, with their pure and clear vocal tones. The album features a selection of Palestrina's most famous Masses, including the Missa Papae Marcelli, which is widely regarded as one of the greatest works of Western music.

The album's production is superb, with the choir's voices perfectly balanced and the acoustics of the recording space lending a warm and resonant quality to the sound. The ensemble's attention to detail and precision in their performance is evident throughout the album, making for a truly immersive listening experience.
