Review by Devina Ardelia

Freddie Gwala's album Bafana Bafana is a vibrant and energetic collection of songs that celebrates the spirit of South African football. The album features a range of infectious rhythms, including traditional African beats, reggae, and hip-hop, all of which are blended together seamlessly to create a unique and dynamic sound.

Gwala's lyrics are equally impressive, with songs that speak to the joys and challenges of football, as well as the broader societal issues that affect South Africans. From the upbeat anthem "Bafana Bafana" to the poignant ballad "Ngiyabonga," Gwala's songs are both catchy and meaningful, making this album a true standout.
