Review by Chédene van Niekerk

Erb Baker's latest album, Bottervagl, is a unique and captivating musical experience. The album features a fusion of different genres, including folk, blues, and rock, creating a sound that is both dynamic and refreshing. The songs are beautifully crafted, with intricate instrumentation and thoughtful lyrics that tell stories of love, loss, and self-discovery.

The opening track, "Bottervagl," sets the tone for the album with its haunting melody and Baker's soulful vocals. The album continues with tracks like "Moonlight" and "The Road," which showcase Baker's impressive guitar skills and his ability to create a sense of intimacy and vulnerability in his music.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Long Way Home," a beautiful ballad that showcases Baker's songwriting abilities. The song is a heartfelt reflection on the journey of life and the importance of finding one's way home, both physically and emotionally.
