Review by Rashauna Thomas

Live Midnight Triangle, the latest album by Crusaders, is a promising addition to the jazz fusion genre. The band, featuring Joe Sample on keyboards, Stix Hooper on drums, and Wilton Felder on saxophone, delivers a dynamic performance that showcases their musical prowess.

The album opens with the energetic track "Stomp and Buck Dance," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The musicians effortlessly blend jazz, funk, and soul, creating a sound that is both groovy and sophisticated.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Chain Reaction," a soulful ballad that showcases Felder's emotive saxophone playing. The band's chemistry is evident throughout the album, and their tight-knit arrangements make for a cohesive listening experience.
