Eight thumbs down from some fans of rap music
I am in the edge of my seat for volume 2. I think this is such an important recording. I finally bought this album a week ago and have listened non stop since. I've chosen the album over Netflix more than once. I appreciate the direct communication
I'm a huge Thile fan and a huge fugue fan. I actually discovered the piano practice room at my college because I heard one of the music professors in that corner of the art building blaring "Hear and Heaven" through the speakers on her computer. After a lengthy conversation with her about Chris Thile and his music, I sat down at one of the pianos and lit into Bach's WTC1 Fugue in C minor. What a good day that was.

He is a brilliant mandolin player, I've never heard Bach played so well on mandolin.
