Bitch Witch's self-titled debut album, Bitch Witch, is a fierce and unapologetic offering that showcases the band's raw energy and punk attitude. Led by frontwoman and guitarist, Raven, the band delivers a collection of 10 tracks that are equal parts catchy and aggressive.
From the opening track, "Bitch Witch," with its driving rhythm and snarling vocals, to the closing song, "Nothing Left to Lose," which features a haunting guitar riff and a sense of desperation, the album never lets up. The band's sound is a mix of punk, garage rock, and grunge, with a touch of metal, and it all comes together in a way that feels fresh and exciting.
Lyrically, the album is unapologetically feminist, with songs like "Bad Reputation" and "Nasty Woman" taking on societal expectations and misogyny head-on. However, the band also tackles personal struggles, such as addiction and mental health, on tracks like "Demons" and "Sick and Tired."
