I see post that were made 2 and 3 years ago, which is sad. Artie is so fantastic and I watch the videos when I have a chance (which is pretty much every day,I am retired) I think even now at 73 he is a great looking man. His hazel eyes have always driven me insane cause they change so much. That is a special thing and I love him and hope he goes on and on like George Burns, live to be a hundred... Listen to Art singing in Germany in March 2015, amazing, his voice is back, kinder, gentler, but still the same wonderful voice we know and love...
I remember this song when I was 15 years old and sitting with my father at breakfast singing this song together. Rip dad.

This is a good version unfortunately the flamingos version got heavy on the reverb and I respect their version but the reverb is really overshadows the beauty of the tune.
I remember sitting in a dorm at Kent State and listening to this with headphones, completely blown away. Best version of this song forever!
I was in middle school, seventh grade to be exact.
I grew up in the SF Bay Area, East San Jose to be exact, and I can remember listening to this song on a school bus coming back from a Field trip to San Francisco, some of the school buses back used to have AM radios for the drivers and I remember hearing this song. It was cool to ride a school bus to or from school or field trip and to have the radio on.
suzanne here, i always thought he had the most beautiful voice i had ever heard in my life as a teen, some 50 plus years ago, still does, hes still singing and sounds just the same, this is his very best one,
