I was in my teens growing up with disco in the forefront at the time..this was, in my opinion, one of the era's underrated tracks..??
Can anyone tell me the meaning of the first two lines. I can tell by your leaves

Good thing that I got that song on vinyl.
Peaked at number 8 on Billboard’s Disco (now Dance Club Songs) Chart in December 1979.

She pronounces 'rush' unusually.
Beautiful ANN-MARGRET ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had the chance to see her LAS VEGAS show live and she was an amazing performer / singer / dancer
Wow . The great days of LAS VEGAS ⭐️

Ann-Margret doesn't sound as good as usual on her disco recordings.
One of the world history's best disco records EVER made. The strings are positively Hitchockian.
Ann Margret did a beautiful job recording this album. She is truely a remarkable, phenomenal, talented, entertainer!
I LOVE ANN-MARGRET!!!!! I've loved her ever since this tv special, Hollywood Movie Girls and this album. I saw her in concert in 1983. SHE WAS GREAT!!!!! She sounds the same live as on records or movies. Great talent!!!!
I saw Ann-Margret perform this song in 1979 at Studio One, the hottest gay disco in West Hollywood, CA (I was living over the Hollywood hills in Burbank at the time ... “the Valley” haha). No, I was not a valley girl… I was a valley guy (who had grown up in a small town in central Kansas).
She had just released a 5 song disco EP, and this was the 1st song released from that EP. It charted #8 on the Billboard US Dance chart. The 2nd track released was called “Midnight Message“, which went to #12.
She was slinky and sexy and vivacious as she sang the hell out of both songs. Everything you would expect from Ann-Margret. Very exciting for a 22-year-old me!

SOOOOO GOOD! ???
I love this song!
I have this 12" somewhere but haven't listened to it in AGES. Thanks for posting.
I LOVE ANN-MARGRET AND THIS SONG!!!!!
I thought I remembered her doing a disco tune! Had to download it as a WTF dance classic.:-) She actually does a respectable job of getting out of the way of the strong instrumentation. Kinda' sounds like something Debbie Jacobs passed on. Thanx for posting.
