Review by Tony Diehl

Anima Mundi's latest album, I Me Myself, is a masterpiece of progressive rock. The band's unique sound blends elements of classic rock, jazz, and world music to create a truly immersive listening experience.

From the opening track, "The Chimney, the Wheel, and the War," the listener is transported to another world. The intricate guitar work, complex rhythms, and soaring vocals create a sense of urgency and intensity that carries throughout the album.

Tracks like "The Hunter and the Prey" and "New Jerusalem" showcase Anima Mundi's skill at creating epic, multi-layered compositions. The use of different instruments and vocal styles adds depth and texture to the music, creating a rich and varied sound.

About Anima Mundi

The Cuban symphonic progressive rock band Anima Mundi came alive in the spring of 1996. They recorded three demos during the early years (Eterno Cauce (1997), Tierra Invisible (1998) and Más Allá (1999)) and due to live shows, broadcasting and hard promotional work, they quickly became an essential brand among the alternative Cuban national music scene. With the debut album Septentrión (2001), the band had the chance to play successfully throughout the island in front of a huge amount of fans and that increased their awareness level and based on this success, their international business started. With the second album Jagannath Orbit (2008), the band not only turned to their original sound but began being distributed throughout the world. From their third album The Way (2010) on, the band has regularly released music, played live worldwide and have become a figurehead in the South American prog scene.

It’s the record companies that are the problem, not Apple Music.

Apple Music doesn’t have this record, along with many other records that should be available to every subscriber!!!.
