André Brasseur - Early Bird Satellite The Kid

Review by lusia laudita

André Brasseur's album Early Bird Satellite The Kid is a delightful blend of retro and modern sounds that will transport listeners to a different era. The album features 12 tracks, each one showcasing Brasseur's exceptional talent as a composer and musician.

The album opens with the upbeat and funky "The Kid," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. Brasseur's use of the Hammond organ and other vintage instruments gives the album a nostalgic feel, but the addition of modern elements such as electronic beats and synthesizers keeps it fresh and relevant.

One standout track is "X," which features a catchy melody and a driving beat that will get listeners grooving. Another highlight is "Satellite," a dreamy and atmospheric instrumental that showcases Brasseur's mastery of the Hammond organ.

Estaba buscando esta melodía...hasta que la encontré. Tenía 12 años cuando la escuché y me gustó, bellos recuerdos de mi adolescencia.

We still have that tune on MC in our old W123 Mercedes. I always wondered who made this song, thanks to Shazaam and the techncique of the 21st century I found out now. Great song, that remembers me of my youth, altough I'm onbly 34 now.

not heard this in a very long time Prob about 36 yr ago, as this genre of record seemed to fade within the scene.

Its really hard to explain to someone yhats not on the scene the sort of feelings a tune brings us. Standing outside on the Pier with the waves crashing between yer feet. Eyes like saucers and practiving for Englands gurning squad of '75 then you hear this. Then you hear 100s of leather bound feet doing the Cleggy thumpn the Piers amazing floor and that tingle that started off down your back has now blown the top of yer head right off!! I know it weren't for long but we had our own scene going on The Pier. I loved the place.

CBS caused a whole lot of confusion with their incompetent labelling. Although this side says "The Kid

HaHa for years during my DJ days I used 'Holiday' as my theme tune only to find out recently I was actually playing the Kid, Yep you've guessed it I also have a single with the reversed labels.

Get stomping!
shailendra25vits
I have this single and CBS must have done a good job a mixing the sides up when they released the single, I have always playe the Kid as a Northern Soul song when I was DJ'ing, the other side Holiday was used by Noel Edmons I think when he was on pirate radio
joanacorreia87
