For the past 40 years I've been wondering why these guys weren't huge. They are one of the best. Russell's songs resonate in the heart.

Absolutely fantastic track, but all ARA tracks are!  Anyone know if the writer (Stuart Wright) did anything else?

Bought this album in 1981 at 18 yrs. old. Bought several cds in 2002, this being one of them. After listening to this song many times, I realized who Rodrigo was. He was the one watching Elaine and Rita! Duh!!!!!!!!!! Oh, well! What a clever way to write a song. They had many good songs!

Tracey Nelson is the female singer.  Might remember her duet with Willie Nelson, on  "After the Fire is Gone"

This has been my favorite band for over 50 years. And Dancing the Night Away with its so wonderful and perfect Byrd Burton guitar break is what I want played at my wake (or last thing I hear, whatever). It never fails to sweep me away from any troubles or mediocrity. Thank you, Byrd.
