Admiral - Revolving And Loading

Review by Abhivarmmen Yoheswaran

Admiral's album "Revolving and Loading" is a well-crafted and dynamic piece of work that showcases the band's talents for blending different genres and styles. The album is an eclectic mix of rock, pop, and electronic elements, with each track offering a unique sound and vibe.

The opening track "Revolver" sets the tone for the album with its driving rhythm and catchy chorus. The band's use of electronic elements is particularly effective on this track, creating a sense of urgency and energy that carries through the rest of the album.

Other standout tracks include "Bulletproof," which features a soaring chorus and a memorable guitar riff, and "In The Eye," which showcases the band's ability to craft a slow-burning, atmospheric ballad.

Hey thank you for posting this. Admiral were some guys from the shitty middle of nowhere part of Pennsylvania that I lived in and I got to watch them open for Fugazi at the Chameleon a little before or after this came out and you know it was probably like 100 or a couple hundred people at the most but as far as I was and am concerned it was the promise of punk rock made real, that anybody who has a half decent idea can get on stage and make it happen with a band that might as well of been Led Zeppelin as far as we were concerned. And one other thing is that the dude that went on to play in Hoover who I think his name was maybe Joe? sorry... the point being he was probably the nicest fucking human being you would ever want to meet at that time and he had moved down to DC and was part of making the thing happen that was happening there at that time circa 1991 and I hope he’s living well and happy somewhere today, because again he’s brought the punk rock thing and specifically the DC thing to life. Which I probably should say because 99.9% of the world wasn’t there was like dude had met me at one show and next time I saw him at a show gave me a -hug- and was like how you doing man and that was the way DC had of being punk as fuck by being as decent as humanly possible.
